Happy Anniversary to Piaggio!

This past Wednesday marked the anniversary of Piaggio’s founding, which took place on January 24th, 1884!  In honor of their long history and success in the industry, we wanted to honor their anniversary by highlighting two of Piaggio’s most iconic models that you can find right here at Rahal Piaggio Indianapolis!  


First up we have the Piaggio Liberty 150 S.  The first Liberty model was built by the Italian manufacturer in 1996 and was a true catalyst for the phenomenon surrounding high-wheel scooters particularly in cities.  They provide great stability, a comfortable riding experience, and sleek appearance.  The demand for the Piaggio Liberty model has not waned over the years, as riders appreciate the convenience, efficiency, performance, and comfort of the Liberty.  The “S” version features sporty black detailing throughout the livery that distinguishes it from the standard Liberty model.  You truly cannot go wrong with either edition, as both deliver on the unmatched Piaggio performance that the brand has guaranteed since their founding.  


We will wrap up with the Piaggio Beverly 400 S!  The Beverly hit the scene in 2001, and like its predecessors was designed with urban mobility in mind.  The sporty yet elegant ride seamlessly gets you wherever your days take you.  As with the Liberty, the Beverly is offered and a standard and an “S” model.  The Beverly S combines the dynamic qualities and grip that one experiences on a high-wheeler with the exuberance and long-distance comfort experienced on a classic Touring scooter.  Due to the great reliability of the Beverly it is wonderfully suited for long trips, and even has plenty of storage space for your belongings.
