May is here!  That means it is time for Rahal Piaggio Indianapolis’ May Scooter and Motorcycle of the Month!  This month we have some exciting new additions to the showroom, that will be the perfect addition to anyone’s riding season.  Whether looking for a powerful motorcycle to cruise the open road with, or a scooter to leisurely explore the local community, Rahal Piaggio Indianapolis has the perfect options.  This month we are highlighting two eye-catching favorites: the 2024 Vespa GTV 300 and the 2024 Aprilia RSV4 Factory 1100!  


Let’s start with our Scooter of the Month, the 2024 Vespa GTV 300.  A new-comer to the Rahal Piaggio Indianapolis showroom, this scooter has a sleek design with a black livery featuring contrasting orange accents.  The perfect understated, yet stylish ride!  This latest model takes the most iconic features of the GTV such as its distinctive exposed tubular handlebar and low headlamp on the front mudguard and adds elegant high-tech elements that emphasize its innovative character.  The single-seat, two-tone saddle, fairing and matte black details are just some of the features that give the Vespa GTV its bold, sporty personality, while the five-spoke matte black wheel rims and contrasting orange graphics on the side serve as a nod to the racing world.  The scooter is made very practical by the LED lighting, fully digital instrumentation, and keyless ignition, making it an easy-to-use option for everyday use.  This innovative and versatile technology is all wrapped up in the Vespa’s classic modern, elegant style that is recognizable at the blink of an eye.  


Have your sights set on a motorcycle for your rides?  Look no further than our Motorcycle of the month, the 2024 Aprilia RSV4 Factory 1100!  The thrills of the racetrack, at your fingertips.  The RSV4 Factory 1100 is a premium superbike at the top of its category, designed for riders who crave high performance without compromising the quality and safety levels that are synonymous with Aprilia.  The RSV4 Factory sports the outstanding Ohlins Smart EC2.0 semi-active suspension system, which has been fine-tuned through a team effort involving the engineers in Noale.  In keeping with their lighting approach on sport bikes, this motorcycle is equipped with a triple LED front headlight unit, featuring perimeter DRLs and “bending lights” function, where the auxiliary lights increase visibility when cornering by illuminating the inside of a turn, so the road is clear ahead.  Aprilia made dramatic changes with this model such as with its swingarm that was inspired by the Aprilia RS-GP used in MotoGP.  This innovation reduces masses and increases the stability of the rear end during acceleration.  The RSV4 has always sought to deliver an authentic experience that is as close as possible to Aprilia’s racing bikes, with no compromises, and the RSV4 Factory is no exception.
